The sexist, racist, authoritarian Trump or someone like him is always a breath away. We can never stop organizing. In New Jersey we may have the freedom of choice and transgender rights (for now), but we don’t have the freedom to access SAFE public transit on the weekends and at night, housing, childcare, or fair pay. We must fight for what we have and demand more.

‘A Feminist Newsletter in New Jersey—about Urbanism, ’is a reader-funded venture. We do not have outside sources of revenue. This provides us with a forum to explore topics in urbanism outside of market urbanism and to not simply parrot the line of developers and men without primary care duties. 

The tiers that you can help are at two levels:

9 dollars a month in honor of Title IX.

and

19.11 dollars per month in honor of the First International Women’s Day.

We’re looking to obtain 1,920 paid members by December 8. 

We can achieve this goal as New Jersey is the densest state in the country and I’m sure some of those people are feminists!

Paid members benchmarks:

1,920– Paid pieces by our freelance writers.

2,000- In-depth long road journalism.

2,800- Merchandise. 

3,000- More frequent publishing and more in person civic engagement. 

3,500- We will be able to do this full time. 

4,500- In-person party for subscribers.
